CIPS Feast: Celebrating the Right to Food

The Center for Indonesian Policy Studies (CIPS) is hosting a Gala Dinner exclusively for CIPS supporters. Here, you will meet others equally dedicated in supporting and driving efforts to see Indonesians build better futures and live prosperous lives.

The Gala will be held on 14 September in Jakarta, is about “Affordable Food for the Poor”. CIPS is actively promoting sustainable food security in Indonesia to improve poor families’ access to affordable quality food. As a result, one in three Indonesian children under the age of 5 suffer from malnutrition and stunted growth. The negative impact on these children’s futures is irreversible. CIPS needs your help to put an end to this by providing practical policy solutions for farmers’ welfare without an unnecessary burden on consumers.

CIPS opens opportunities with policy recommendations that reach Indonesian decision-makers! Our policy solutions reduce the costs of food and improve its quality, which makes for higher margins and increased business revenues.

CIPS is among the Top5 research institutes in Indonesia. We demonstrate to Indonesian decision-makers that private initiatives can:

contribute a larger share to agricultural inputs, such as seeds and fertilizers,

modernize technologies in the food and agriculture sector,

increase farmers welfare through training and support activities,

trade food efficiently across the Indonesian archipelago and internationally,

provide employment and quality products in the F&B sector.
