What is the InternCIPS Program?

InternCIPS is a CIPS internship program for university students or fresh graduates who want to gain professional work experience in one of the Top Think Tanks in the Asia Pacific.

Communications Intern


  • Work directly with CIPS’ Digital Officer to create social media content, copywriting, reporting, and support in managing CIPS’ social media and websites.

  • Take care of the stakeholder engagement list and create articles for website.

  • Assist Events & Partnerships team in marketing and promoting events, technical assistance for events, copywriting, and developing post-event reports. 

  • Conduct daily media monitoring.

Graphic Design Intern


  • Work directly with CIPS’ graphic designer to design all CIPS’ digital platforms.

  • Help to design any content related to CIPS Events.

  • Maintain and check the website regularly, including submitting press releases to the website.

  • Conduct daily media monitoring.

Who can intern at CIPS?

  • Young, proactive & creative individuals between the age of 18 and 25. 

  • Interested in communications for social impact through public policy research and advocacy. 

  • Experience in managing digital platforms (such as social media and websites), creating promotional campaigns, or content creation, is an advantage.

  • Having basic design skills (Adobe photoshop or canva) is also a plus.

  • Preferably fluent in English (both speaking and in writing).

  • Can work in a team, and possesses strong self-leadership and initiative.

  • Highly organized and has strong attention to detail.

  • Fully committed to join the program from home with working hours from 08.00 – 17.00, Monday to Friday*.

Internship Period:

1 November 2021 - 31 January 2022

How do I apply?

The program will be open once the recruitment period started. The process is as follows:

1.     Applications screening.

2.     Interview session (only shortlisted candidates will be contacted).

3.     Announcement and confirmation of acceptance (will be done through email only).
