The Center for Indonesian Policy Studies (CIPS) is hosting a Gala Dinner exclusively for CIPS supporters. Here, you will meet others equally dedicated in supporting and driving efforts to see Indonesians build better futures and live prosperous lives.
The Gala is about “Affordable Food for the Poor”. CIPS is actively promoting sustainable food security in Indonesia to improve poor families’ access to affordable quality food. As a result, one in three Indonesian children under the age of 5 suffer from malnutrition and stunted growth. The negative impact on these children’s futures is irreversible. CIPS needs your help to put an end to this by providing practical policy solutions for farmers’ welfare without an unnecessary burden on consumers.
CIPS opens opportunities with policy recommendations that reach Indonesian decision-makers! Our policy solutions reduce the costs of food and improve its quality, which makes for higher margins and increased business revenues.
CIPS is among the Top 5 research institutes in Indonesia. We demonstrate to Indonesian decision-makers that private initiatives can:
contribute a larger share to agricultural inputs, such as seeds and fertilizers,
modernize technologies in the food and agriculture sector,
increase farmers welfare through training and support activities,
trade food efficiently across the Indonesian archipelago and internationally,
provide employment and quality products in the F&B sector.
That is why we are asking for your help. Every month, our policy papers are being downloaded up to 1,000 times and the media mentions us more than 100 times. An investment in CIPS is an investment towards opening greater market opportunities in agriculture and F&B.
Accepting our invitation to the gala dinner is a wonderful opportunity to make affordable quality food more accessible for the poor. In opening access to this most basic human need, you can improve the lives of vulnerable communities across Indonesia and ensure better food security for the country
Your support enables us to continue working with government decision makers and experts to improve current policies. Direct aid to those in need is great but changes on the policy level have incredible reach and impact millions. It is the most effective form of altruistic giving.
